We’re delighted to share that we’ll be open on Sunday 15 March, from 12pm to 4pm, for a Mother’s Day Sunday Lunch, and we’d love to welcome you.
Our Sunday Lunch menu is small but carefully curated, featuring traditional and vegan roasts, pan‑fried fish, and a selection of other seasonal dishes. Every plate is prepared with thought and care to offer a relaxed, modern, and enjoyable dining experience.
Café No.8 Bistro is located on Gillygate in York, a street celebrated for its wonderful independent businesses and just a short stroll from the iconic York Minster. Our award‑winning bistro is well‑loved for its warm, intimate, and peaceful atmosphere and our Sunday Lunch menu is consistently ranked among York’s favourite spots for a traditional, well-cooked Sunday Roast; making it the perfect setting to enjoy Sunday Lunch with the mother figure in your life.
We’re also pleased to cater for a wide range of dietary requirements. As all our dishes are made from scratch, we’d be grateful if you could give us at least three working days’ notice for any specific needs. We can comfortably welcome groups of up to six people; if your party is larger, please give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
